摘　　要：1915年,陈独秀创办《新青年》,兴起以"民主"与"科学"为两大口号的思想文化运动。1918年11月,北京大学学生创办新潮社,效法《新青年》,于1919年1月1日出版社刊《新潮》杂志,积极推广新思想、新学术、新文学。这里从历史发展、文本内容和编辑思想三个方面介绍并分析《新潮》的基本情况。Chen Duxiu launched the journal of Xin Qingnian 新青年(New Youth)in 1915, promoting thought and culture campaign with democracy and science as its two major slogans. In November,1918,Peking University students launched New Tide Club and published Xinchao 新潮(New Tide)in the imitation of Xin Qingnian on January 1st of 1919,actively pushing new thoughts,new learning and new literature. The present paper introduces the basic situations of Xinchao in terms of its historical development,content survey and editorial thought.
