天津近代文化的双重性与西方文化的影响

摘　　要：近代天津文化的特征是"开放",还是"保守"?这是学术界长期争论、悬而未决的问题。近代天津文化实际上具有"开放-保守"的二重性格。这种性格的形成,与西方文化的影响有关。西方帝国主义的侵略,使天津民众产生了对西方的抵制情绪;而开放带来的交流与接触,又使天津民众更多地认识到西方文化的先进性。这种对西方资本主义国家又交流又抵抗的状况渗透在天津文化中,就形成了天津近代文化既开放又保守的双重性特征。Is the duai character of Tianjin culture in modern times open or conservative？ This is a problem that the academia has long argured and not solved. In fact, Tianjin culture in modern times has dual Character of＂open and conservative＂. The formation of this dual character is related to the influence of western culture. The western imperialist invasion produced resisting emotion in Tianjin people, while along with the opening, the exchanging and touching made Tianjin people more understand the advanced western culture. The exchanging and resisting state towards the western capital countries penetrated into Tianjin culture, forming the open and conservative dual characters.
