摘　　要：西方绘画材料作为绘画语言的基本元素之一,除了是区分画种的主要依据之外,还承担了作为精神载体的作用。各时代的艺术家总是在寻找、研究、利用材料以形成他的绘画语言和画面样式。绘画材料的每次变革都促进了审美的发展,同时又对真实作出了进一步的认识。因此,真的观念是西方绘画材料嬗变的审美观照。The painting materials as the basic dement of the painting language in the Occident have been the main grounds of differentiating the kinds of paintings. Meanwhile,they have been the body of spirit.In all the times,artists have been looking after, researching and using the painting materials to form the painting languages. The changes of the painting materials have promoted the changes of the aesthetic thoughts and given us some recognizations of truth.
