摘　　要：目前许多学者将高职特色创建的焦点集中在硬件建设上,忽视了诸如高职定位、人才培养、校园文化等软件建设方面的问题,走入了“就特色论特色”的误区。差异化发展是高职特色创建的理论基础和实践方向,关键在于寻求“异质”。差异化发展思想的内涵包括：环境适应性思想、竞争优势与定位思想、难以模仿思想和动态能力思想等四个方面。Nowadays, many scholars attach great importance on hardware construction for characteristic construction of higher vocational education, but ignoring the problem of software construction such as higher vocational education orientation, talent cultivation and campus culture, which enter into the misun- derstanding of ＂discussing characteristics by characteristics＂. Different development is the theoretical basis and practical direction of characteristic development of higher vocational education, and the key is to seek ＂heterogeneity＂. The connotations of different development include four aspects： environmental adaptability, competitive advantages and orientation, difficulty to simulate and dynamic abilities.
