摘　　要：处于生活贫困状态下的农民,往往也是知识贫困者。农民的知识贫困主要是基础教育、公共文化服务的供给不足与分配不公造成的。在文化上加大财政投入、推进制度创新、吸纳社会力量参助,这是改变农民知识贫困的基本途径之一。图书馆应该坚持"普遍均等、实效持续"的原则,采用各种切实有效的手段为广大农民提供知识援助。Peasants living below the poverty line are usually poor in knowledge. Peasants＇ knowledge poverty is mainly caused by inadequate supply and unfair distribution of basic education and public cultural service. One of basic approaches to changing the peasants＇ knowledge poverty is to increase financial investment culturally, promote institutional innovation and get more social help. Library should follow the principle of ＂universal and equal opportunity for all, effective and sustainable service to everyone＂, take effective and practical measures to provide knowledge aids for the majority of peasants.
