摘　　要：身为"被偷走的一代"中的一员,当代澳大利亚土著女作家多丽丝.皮金顿本人就是这一历史的见证。她的传记作品《沿着防兔篱笆》通过讲述其母亲所亲身经历的"胜利大逃亡",不仅客观地揭示了澳大利亚土著人所遭受的种族压迫,还进一步使多丽丝自己能在这种叙述故事的过程中重归自我。Doris Pilkington,the contemporary aboriginal woman writer and one of the ＂Stolen C, enerations＂, is a witness to that period of Australian history. Doris Pilkington＇s biographical novel Follow the Rabbit - proof Fence is a story about her mothor＇s being removed from the north - west region of Western Australia and trek to homeland. The novel not only reveals the racial oppression endured by Australian aboriginals, but makes Doris Pilkington rebuild a new self in the process of narrating the story.
