摘　　要：公共图书馆的内在价值与外在服务是促进学习型城市建设发展的两个方面,文章从学习型城市的概念与外延,学习型城市建设同多类型图书馆的社会价值,图书馆在提升整个城市品位和增强城市居民的文化素质,多类型图书馆与学习型城市建设协调发展的多个方面进行了阐述,从而揭示公共图书馆的发展与建设学习型城市之间的内在关联性。There are two aspects of promoting the learning city construction which are the intrinsic value of urban library and external service. This paper discusses correlation between development of city library and learning city construction through concept and extension of learning city, social value between learning city construction and various types library, function of library that is to promote city＇s taste and enrich the citizen＇s cultural knowledge, harmonious development between various types city library and learning city construction.
