On the Construction of Business English in Colleges and Universities

摘　　要：本科院校开办的商务英语专业担负着为我国培养与世界经济接轨所需的高级商务英语应用型人才的任务。浅析了商务英语专业的学科特色和学科理念,对本科院校商务英语专业选用的教材进行了综述,探讨了商务英语教师队伍的现状和建立高素质教师队伍的方向。Business English in colleges and universities is entitled to train the senior application-oriented talents widely needed in the attempt to connect China with the business activities of the world. This article briefly analyses the academic-subject characteristics and concepts of Business English, gives a general survey of the textbooks used for Business English majors both for compulsory and optional readings in colleges and universities, and discusses the present teaching capacity of the faculties and makes some suggestions for producing a highly qualified teaching staff.
