浅议科学发展观指导下现代远程教育

摘　　要：以电子信息技术为基础的现代远程高等教育以其不同与传统高等教育的特征,为进一步拓展教育资源,实现资源共享,打破办学层次的单一局面,为满足学习者的多层次、多规格、多形式的学习要求,提供了广阔的发展空间,成为我国在教育资源短缺的情况下大力发展高等教育的主要手段和措施。它对大力发展我国高等教育、推进高等教育的大众化进程、尽快提高全民族的素质、提高我国的国际竞争力具有重要的意义。The modem long-range education based on electronic information technology, is different from traditional higher education. It provides a vast development space for further expanding education resources ,realizing resources-sharing ,putting an end to running the school at the single-level, so as to meet the learners＇ demands for multi-level, multi-criteria, multi-form learning. It becomes the main means for vigorously developing high education under the circumstances of having a shortage of educational resources. It is of vital importance for our county to fully develop high education, to advance the course for popularity of high education, to enhance the whole nation＇ quality, and to increase our country＇ s competitiveness internationally.
