摘　　要：湖北侗族是一个散杂居于湖北恩施土家族苗族自治州远离侗族中心分布区的一个族群。200多年前他们从湖南和贵州侗族聚居区来到这里,他们在与当地土家族、苗族、汉族交往过程中,相互学习、和睦相处,在保持自身民族认同的同时,主动适应当地的文化。这种适应性的选择,一方面使民族群体在异地得到了很好地生存和发展,另一方面在文化发生变迁的同时,民族的历史记忆和民族认同仍然得以保留。Hubei Dong nationality is a ethnic group which lives scattered in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei where is away from the center of the Dang ethnic group as a distribution area. More than 20 0 years ago, the Dong came to live here from Hunan, Guizhou .They lived together with the local Tujia, Miao and Han nationalities ,in the process of exchanges, they learn from each other and live in harmony. The Dong adapted to the local culture on their own initiative while keeping their national self-identity. This adaptive selection, on one hand, the ethnic groups survive and develope well in different places, on the other hand, when the culture has been change, the nation＇s historical memory and national selfidentity were still been preserved.
