从关联理论角度略析《纯真年代》两中译本的语言风格(英文)

摘　　要：本文从关联理论的角度对《纯真年代》的两个中译本的语言风格略加比较：第一种译文显露出一种现代气息的风格，而第二种译文保持了源语风格，在翻译质量上两种译文并没有明显界限；并证实了关联理论对翻译现象有较强的解释力，翻译的目的就是使译文在译入语读者中产生足够的语境效果，即译入语读者能够找到译文与其认知环境之间的最佳关联。The paper makes a comparison of language styles between two Chinese versions of The Age of Innocence based on Relevance Theory （RT henceforth） ： Zbao and Zbao＇ s version （version one） shows modern style; while Ran et al＇s version （version two） keeps original style. Meanwhile, there is not a clear borderline between the both versions in view of translation quality, Consequently, Relevance Theory is powerful in accounting for translation. Furthermore, the optimal relevance proves to be considered as the guideline for translation.
