摘　　要：模块化是21世纪的前沿议题。在回顾模块化的发展历程的基础上,阐述了"现代模块化"的含义、实质和重要性,以及国际上模块化研究的动向。认为在国际性的"模块化大发展时期",我们必须用新的视角来思考模块化,对模块化的理论、价值和应用作出新的、更高层次上的诠释。不应仅是设计师、标准化工作者的任务,而首先应成为经济学和管理学界、政府官员、以及企业家的研究课题。Modularity is the frontier subject under discussion in the 21 st century. Based on the review of the developing the course of modularity, this paper expatiates the implication, the essence and the importance of modern modularity, as well as the international trends on modularity research. We must think deeply modular- ity with new angle of view in age of international modularity development, and annotate highly theroy, value and application of modularity. Modern modularity is not only the task of designers and standardization worker, but also the research topic for economics and management, government and enterprises.
