摘　　要：印象主义作为一个重要的艺术表现手法,在契诃夫的小说创作中具有独特的表现方式。契诃夫善于运用光、色、形等绘画语言来展现瞬间获得的各种印象,并赋予深邃的寓意,为读者的想象提供一些支撑点,以此营造出一种情绪和气氛,引起一定的审美期待。小说文理叙述上的印象主义对烘托主题、渲染气氛以及揭示人物的心理活动都起到了至关重要的作用。本文从风景描写、人物肖像、心理活动这几方面对契诃夫的印象主义进行探讨。Impressionism, as an important artistic approach, has its unique expressive forms in Chekhov＇ s novels. Chekhov is good at applying painting language such as light, color and shape to show the various impressions acquiring in a flash, giving the deep inner meaning and providing the readers with the imagination power. Chekhov, in his novel, builds a certain mood and atmosphere to arouse the expectation of beauty appreciation. Impressionism in the unity and coherence in a novel plays an essential role in the foils of motif, atmosphere creation and description of mental activities. The thesis discusses the impres- sionism in Chekhov＇ s novels from the perspective of scenery description, character portrait and description of mental activities.
