摘　　要：对数字图书馆的基本特征和对构建和谐社会的重要作用进行了全面阐述,指出数字图书馆是实现信息公平、构建和谐社会的现实需要和重要途径,并提出数字图书馆发展的新构想——学区数字图书馆。This article has carried on a comprehensive elaboration on basic characteristics of digital library and their vital roles to construct harmonious society. It points out that digital library can not only meet the realistic needs of fair iformation but also can be an important way to construct harmonious society, and proposes a new conception of developing the digital library-school district numeral lirbrary.
