摘　　要：这几年因工作机会到老挝出差，虽说每次都来去匆匆，没有更多时间像背包族那样细看山水文物、体验乡风民俗，但也算对这个曾经陌生的邻国有了些许了解，虽然肤浅但却印象深刻。老挝人口大约510万，85％的居民信奉佛教，庙宇更是遍布全国各地，而且寺庙也是老挝最辉煌壮观的建筑。在老挝，身着橘黄色袈裟的僧侣随处可见，并且备受人们尊重。In recent years, I have gone to Laos several times on business. I never had much time to enjoy the mountains, waters, and folk customs there. However, the very few things I know about this country really impressed me. Laos has a population of 5.1 million, 85 percent of whom believe in Buddhism. The temples spread all over the country and are the most brilliant buildings in Laos. The monks in the yellow robes can be seen everywhere in the country. They are all respected by the people.
