摘  要:在中古社会发展进程中,宋武帝刘裕是一个关键性人物。就其出身而言,他不仅在经济上"贫贱",而且在文化与门第上也"家本寒微",表现出"不经涉学"、"仅识文字"、"本无术学"、"轻狡无行"、"楚言未变"等特征,对士族社会之"雅道风流"无一擅长,且在生活与礼仪上表现出俭省朴素的寒门特色,遭到士族社会的耻笑。随着其社会政治地位的上升,刘裕为改善与士族社会的关系,注意在文化上的士族化,"颇慕风流,时或言论",组织诗赋歌咏,刻意模仿士族任诞风流的举止,造就了"不坠晋之遗风"的文化形象。同时,刘裕又提倡儒学,延请儒生经师,"议建国学",虽未及实施,但体现出他整顿文化风尚的动机。此外,刘裕对佛教高僧多加礼遇,对后来的佛经翻译与义理之学的发展也不无影响。Liu Yu was a crucial historical figure in the developing process of the society in the middle ancient times. He was born poor and low,and his family status were also "low station". Many documents show that he was short of the cultural accomplishment. He was not good at elegant skills of the scholar clan society. He expressed thrifty and simple characteristics on life and etiquette and was often laughed at by the scholar clan society. With the rising of the social political position, Liu Yu organized poetry and singing activities and painstakingly imitated the scholar clan's manner for improving his relation with the scholar clan society. At the same time, Liu Yu advocated the Confucianism and invited the teachers. Although not implemented, the motivation that he rectified the cultural custom was embodied. Liu Yu showed courteous reception for Buddhist eminent monks and had influence on afterwards development of the translation of Buddhist Scripture.
