摘  要:在剖析前人关于古代纸张及手稿分析案例的基础上,初步总结出一些古代纸张和手稿中常见的无机元素,进而探讨了导致其种类和含量存在较大差异的原因,认为主要受内、外两方面的影响,其中,内因与造纸过程直接相关,外因则较为复杂。具体来讲,可划分为五个方面:①制浆过程;②成型纸张的再加工过程;③无机颜料;④无机化学试剂;⑤保存环境。论文最后指出:纸张和手稿中无机元素的种类有助于了解和比较不同造纸技术,但其具体表征意义仍有待进一步探讨。Based on a carefully comparative study of some previous work on both ancient Chinese papers and Western manuscripts, the author preliminarily summarizes the inorganic elements normally found in ancient papers and manuscripts, and thus probes into a discussion about the reasons that may cause the diversity of organic elements and the differences in their chemical concentrations. With this in mind, the author surely believes that the category of inorganic elements and their distributions are closely related to both internal and external factors, i.e., the pulp-making processes, the re-processing after paper's formation; the foxing and discoloration of inorganic pigments or dyes, the chemical substances for conservation uses, and both burial and indoors ambiences, to which much more attention should be paid. The author suggests inorganic elements in ancient papers and manuscripts could be used to better understand and compare the technical characteristics from different paper-making systems, and thus a more detailed following work is in great need to find out what exactly their suggesting meanings are.
