摘　　要：【目的】了解湖南省35～44岁、65～74岁人群口腔健康行为。【方法】采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法，抽取湖南省35～44岁城乡常住人口共722人，其中城市361人，乡村361人。65～74岁城乡常住人口共363人，其中城市182人，乡村181人。按照《第三次全国口腔健康流行病学问卷调查方案》设计的35～44岁、65～74岁口腔健康调查问卷，由问卷调查员面对面进行问卷调查。【结果】92％、78％以上中老年人每天刷牙1～2次但不知道使用的牙膏是否含氟，城市中老年人使用含氟牙膏的比例明显高于农村（P〈0．01）。10．3％的中年人和16．3％的老年人在一年内使用过牙科服务，中年人不看牙医的主要原因是牙没有问题和自觉症状不严重，老年人没有看牙医的主要原因是经济困难。【结论】经济因素和口腔健康意识影响我省中老年人牙科服务的使用，口腔健康行为亟待改进。[Objective] To investigate the current status of oral health behaviors in population at the age of 35～44 and.65～74 year-old in Hunan province. [Methods]An equal-sized stratified multi stage randomly sampling design was applied to obtain a provincially representative sample groups consisted of 722 Hunan residents aged at 35～44 year-old respectively, in which 361 were city dwellers and 361 were rural citizens, and 363 Hunan residents aged at 65～74 year-old respectively, in which 182 were city dwellers and 181 were rural citizens. The questionnaire was designed according to the Guideline for the 3rd National Oral Health Survey. [Results] Almost all＇adults brushed their teeth once or twice every day, but most of them did not know if the toothpaste they used contained fluoride. Only 10.3% of the middle-aged people and 16.3% of the elderly people had visited a dentist within a year. The most common reasons given by the subjects for not having visited a dentist were that they had no dental problems or their rational symptoms were not serious. Shortage of money was the key reason for not having visiting a dentist in old people. [Conclusion]Economic factors and perceived oral health status may influence the utilization of dental services by Hunan adults. Their oral health behaviors need to be improved urgently.
