摘　　要：建设特色数据库，是数字化时代高校图书馆迎接时代挑战的的主要措施之一。特色数据库建立的目的是为了充分发挥图书馆特色化信息资源的功能．为教学科研服务，为经济建设和社会发展服务．最大限度地满足用户的信息需求．特色数据库的建立可以树立高校图书馆的品牌地位，以增强图书馆在信息社会中的竞争能力．是高校图书馆在信息化社会中的立足之本。结合特色数据库建设的理论和自建特色数据库工作的实践．以“冰雪论坛”数据库的建设为例．讨论了特色专题数据库建设的必要性．和高校图书馆建设特色数据库的相关问题，并根据实践经验提出了特色数据库建设的建议。The construction of special database is the main measure in university library facing the challenge of digital age .Its aim is to exert fully the function of the characteristic resources in library of the service of teaching and scientific research and economic construction and the development of society, and to satisfy the need of user mostly. The construction of characteristic database may set the brand status of library to strengthen the competitive caDacity in information society, and it is the foundation of university library in information society . The union characteristic database construction＇s theory and from constructs the characteristic database work the practice, take ＂the snow and ice forum＂ the database construction as the example, discussed the characteristic topic database construction necessity, with the university library construction characteristic database＇s related Question, and put forward the characteristic database construction proposal according to the experience.
