摘 要:为了满足日益增长的对高速多媒体通信的需求,同时实现终端的小型化、节能化和低成本的目标,脉冲超宽带技术成为近年来研究的热点,而对发射脉冲波形的选择则是脉冲超宽带系统成败的关键因素之一.本文首先给出了脉冲超宽带系统中的脉冲波形需要满足的五点要求以更好地评价脉冲波形的好坏.然后,介绍了几种经典的波形设计方法及一种新型的基于正交展开的正交波形设计方法,并以M eyer正交小波为例对这一正交展开方法进行说明.最后,分析了上述方法对于五点要求的满足情况并得到各自的计算复杂度,结果表明正交展开方法可以通过适当的计算复杂度较好地满足对脉冲波形的所有要求.To satisfy the increasing requirement of high data rate multimedia communications, and realize smaller and cheaper terminals using less power, the impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) technique attracted more attentions in recent years. The choice of transmitted pulse waveform is a key factor that affects the performance of IR-UWB system. This paper first gives five requirements to the pulses of IR-UWB system so that the performance of the desired pulse can be evaluated. Then some classical pulse design methods and a novel orthogonal expansion based orthogonal pulse design method are introduced, and orthogonal Meyer wavelets are used as an example to show the procedure of the orthogonal expansion based method. Finally, the fulfillment of the above methods to those requirements is analyzed and the computational complexity of those methods is also obtained. Results show that the orthogonal expansion based method fulfills all the five requirements to the pulses with adequate cost of hardware complexity.
