摘　　要：阎宗临先生是20世纪中国世界史学界的一位重要史学家。他提出了以"人"为中心的文化史观。在其文化史著作中,他破除了欧洲中心史观,注重运用多元比较的研究方法分析历史事件的来龙去脉。同时,他将历史学视为一门人文学科,其历史叙述带有浓郁的人文气息。他的史学研究在当时的中国学术界是绝无仅有的,极大地扩展了人们的研究视野。Yan Zonglin(1904-1978)was one of the leading historians among the field of the world history during the 20th century in China.He put forward the concept of cultural history which focused on the basic point,'Human'.In his view on history and cultural history,Yan Zonglin heavily criticized the Eurocentralism,and adopted comparative method of multi-angle to find what had caused the occurrence,development and change of historical events.Meanwhile,he regarded historiography as humanities.His cultural concept coincided with the mainstream of west historiography at that time.The value of his works could make people have more room for investigation and interpretation.
