中国英语学生词典使用定量实证研究数据收集与统计方法现状分析

摘　　要：本研究通过检索"中国期刊全文数据库",选取1999-2008年间公开发表的有关中国英语学生使用词典的定量实证研究报告38份,分析了其中数据收集及统计方法运用的现状。结果显示,目前此类研究所运用的数据收集方法多属于描述性研究类型所采用的方法,且以比较间接的问卷调查方法为主。统计方法多为描述性统计,其中以仅对数据作初步处理的百分比统计为最多。但是,在推断性统计中,参数检验比非参数检验用得更多。总体而言,有关中国英语学生使用词典的研究在数据收集和统计方法方面还有较大的改进空间。This paper analyzes data collection and statistical methods in quantitative studies ofdictionary use by Chinese EFL students. A sample of 38 studies published in Chinese journalsbetween 1999 and 2008 was selected for the analysis. The study yields two major findings.First, descriptive studies were much more heavily employed in data collection than studiesaiming for explanation, with the questionnaire survey ranking the first among the six methodsexamined in this paper. Second, descriptive statistics methods were used much more thaninferential statistics methods, with the percentage calculation being the most commonly used.Furthermore, where inferential statistics was in use, parametric tests were employed more oftenthan nonparametric tests.
