摘　　要：西文生物医学期刊文献服务系统(Foreign Medical Journal Full-text Senrice,简称FMJS)是以《西文生物医学期刊文献数据库》为信息检索平台,辅以馆际互借系统,实现西文生物医学期刊资源共享和一次文献传送服务的文献服务系统。介绍FMJS的开发原因、设计思想、平台建设方式、功能、特点及服务模式。Taking the Foreign Medical Journal Full - text database as information retrieval platform and the interlibrary loans as support, Foreign Medical Journal Full - text Service （ for short FMJS） accomplishes the resources sharing of foreign medical journals and document delivery services. The paper introduces the reasons for development, design thoughts, construction modes of the platform, functions, characteristics and service modes of FMJS.
