摘  要:城乡教育统筹需要了解城市、农村在基础教育领域中存在的差距,才能制定出缩小差距的步骤和措施。在对重庆市部分城乡小学进行调查的基础上,探讨城乡小学英语教师在专业素养、教学能力和师资培训方面存在的差异和差距,并简要分析了造成这种差距的主要原因。The Experimental Overall planning of urban and rural education in Chongqing area above all requires understanding of the disparity between urban and rural elementary education. Suitable measures to shorten the gap can be taken only after finding out the disparity. This paper aims at analyzing the differences of professional performance, teaching capacities, and staff training among urban and rural primary English teachers, and the major causes of these differences on the basis of field investigation in some of the typical primary schools in Chongqing area.
