摘　　要：性别刻板印象是性别角色观念在现实生活中的重要表现,普遍地存在于人们的意识中。国内外研究发现许多媒介反映了社会的主流价值,所采用的符号多是一些刻板印象。例如在小说中,男女角色通常是"定型"的,即男性人物一般能够主导自己的环境和命运,而女性人物往往是处在一种被动、无助的状态。Gender stereotype is the manifestation of gender roles in real life. Researches at home and abroad have found that many media reflect the main stream of social value, and adopt the code of stereotype. For example, in novels, the male and female characters are usually ＂stereotyped＂, that is, the male character can control his own circumstances and fate, while the female character is usually in a passive and helpless state.
