摘　　要：缩小城乡差距,实现城乡统筹发展是新时期新农村建设的首要任务。在西部省区的新农村建设中,增加教育投入,有效扩大教育消费规模,不断提升农村居民素质具有跨时代的现实意义。本文通过西部省区近年的实证数据分析,寻求有效增加教育消费的基本路径。Priority should be given to the narrowing of the gap between urban and rural areas in order to realize their overall and balanced development in the construction of a new countryside. It has great and practical significance to increase the education investment so as to expand the education consumption more effectively and improve the rural inhabitants＇ quality. Through a case study of the provinces in west China, the paper tries to find out the basic ways in increasing the education consumption in west China.
