摘　　要：通过文献检索、问卷调查和访谈等形式，综述了美国和中国公共卫生硕士学位教育的现状和特点，并对中国和美国公共卫生硕士学位教育从生源、办学特点、培养目标、专业方向和课程设置等方面进行了分析比较；同时，对完善中国现阶段公共卫生硕士学位教育提出了建议。Through literatures searching, questionnaire surveying and face-to-face interviewing, in this paper the characteristics and actualities of the master of public health（MPH） education in America and China were reviewed and the differences between America and China were compared from the source of students, school running, educational objective, specialities and curricula. Meanwhile, some suggestions were raised for perfecting MPH education in China.
