摘　　要：现今许多企业为了提高竞争能力正在开发适合本企业的管理信息系统,但是由于管理信息系统的开发不但涉及到软件开发方面的知识,还需要借助管理方面的经验,然而这些高技术、专业知识要求严格的开发过程最终的结果却往往达不到预期的效果。转变开发思想,寻求高效、可靠的开发方法已成为当务之急。通过以商业管理信息系统(MIS)开发过程为例,分析基于UML的管理信息系统的设计方法,总结这种开发方法的高效之处,促进UML技术在管理信息系统开发中的应用。With the development of economy and the progress of technology in order to raise their competitive capabilities, many enterprise are developing MIS now. But the development of MIS not only relates to the knowledge of developing software but also the management experience. It can always not get the effect excepted by the strict request and high technology. It is necessary to change idea and pursue effective reliable method. With the business management information system（MIS） develop process for example, analyse MIS development approach based on UML and summarize the advantage. Promote the UML technique in the management information system development.
