摘　　要：人类社会在21世纪将步入知识经济时代,作为教育工作者应该顺应时代发展,积极构思和探索出适合中国国情的外语教学,那么探求如何利用多媒体这个工具为教学服务,是摆在我们面前的新课题。本文从多媒体环境下进行大学英语教学的可行性,优越性及多媒体的应用对大学英语教学的启示几方面,进行了深入地探讨。Human society will enter the era of knowledge economy in the 21st century,we should assess the situation and ?nd a new English teaching method that adapt to China’s national conditions,so it is a new task for English educator to explore how to make good use of multi-media .The paper will discuss it from its feasibility,superiority,and the application in the English teaching.
