摘　　要：XML是经W3C定义的受到广泛支持的行业标准,具有分离数据与数据的表现形式的特点,这使得数据有了描述自身的能力.作为网络服务契约的一种技术,XML已是各种数据特别是文档的首选格式.在城市虚拟交通实时控制的研究中,通过对XML的具体应用,进一步拓展了XML在.NET平台下的作用,并对其发展趋势开辟了新的途径.XML is a wide supported industry standard defined by W3C,It has the property of separating dada and dada representation,so the data has the ability to describe themselves.As a technique of web server contract,XML has already been the fist choice for data especially for document.It is furtherly extended the function of XML in the.NET platform and develop a new path for the trend of XML developpement by the concrete application of XML in the research of traffic real-time control in city vitual simulation system.
