摘　　要：清朝末年 ,中国曾先后出现过几次图书翻译高潮 ,依次为 :鸦片战争时期为禁烟知夷而组织的译书 ;洋务新政时期为制器强兵而引发的译书 ;维新运动时期为变法强制而引发的译书 ;维新失败之后为开智新民而涌起的译书。翻译的内容虽各有侧重 ,但却从一个侧面展示了中华民族不屈不挠、追求真知的精神与探寻救亡强国之路的艰难历程。At the end of qing dynasty, China turned up a translation climax several times although it underwent disasters, In turn it is :translation for banning opium during opium war;translation for making arms during foreign affair period;translation for changing laws during reform movement; translation for enlightening people after the failure of reform. Although the emphasis of the contents was different, it revealed Spirits of Chinese's unyielding ,aspiring for knowledge from an indirect facet and hard experience of looking for ways to make our nation stronger.
