Unexpected Stereospecific Rearrangement-Addition Reaction of Trisubstituted Gibberellin Epoxides with Trimethylaluminium

摘　　要：A novel rearrangement-addition reaction of trisubstituted gibberellin epoxides with trimethylaluminium is reported. The reaction proceeds stereospecifically to give tertiary methyl alcohols. The possible mechanism for the reaction is also discussed.
