摘　　要：Wanburganal (1)and polygodial (2), isolated from the bark of the East African plants Warburgia ugandensis and W.stuhlmannii(Canellaceae),have shown potent antifeedant activity against the African army worm Spodoptera littoralis and A. exempta.
