摘 要:从词汇研究的视角与策略方面关注国内外研究者对英语词汇多方面的研究,重点探述其研究方法,尤其是相关的几个方面:词汇知识的维度(包括词汇知识的广度与深度)和词汇知识发展与学习的策略(包括词汇的学得与习得)。研究表明,词汇量的大小影响着语言技能的获得,而词汇知识的质和量与词汇学习模式密切相关。只有运用多种词汇学习策略,提高词汇学习效率,才能缩小词汇宽度(即词汇量)与词汇深度的距离,达到词汇能力和词汇知识的平衡发展。This paper reviews the studies on English vocabulary, conducted by researchers at home and abroad mainly from two aspects of vocabulary research perspectives and strategies. It focuses on their research methods, particularly on several aspects related to: the dimension of vocabulary knowledge (including the width and depth of vocabulary knowledge) and the development and learning strategies of vocabulary knowledge ( including the learning and acquisition of vocabulary). The review shows that the vocabulary size has an effect on the acquisition of language skills. Also, there are close relations between the quality and quantity of a vocabulary, and the models for learning a vocabulary. Therefore, it is only through adopting various strategies of vocabulary learning and promoting the learning efficiency that the distance between the width of vocabulary ( vocabulary size) and the depth of vocabulary can be shortened. Similarly, the balance development between a vocabulary ability and knowledge can be achieved.
