摘　　要：As the first African American woman winner of the Nobel Prize for literature,Toni Morrison is the most noteworthy writer in contemporary African American literature. She earnestly appeals to the folks of her race to take root in the fertile soil of their own traditions and culture,to heal their emotional,psychological and cultural wound and to reconstruct black consciousness.
