摘　　要：50多年来,我国成人高等教育为高等教育事业的发展做出了积极贡献,但在高等教育大发展的转型期,现已面临着诸多问题和挑战。为此,针对成人高等教育发展的历史现状和问题,我国成人高等教育必须以科学发展观为指导,转变办学观念,准确定位,积极创新,为我国高等教育事业的可持续发展再立新功。In the last five decades, adult higher education has made positive contributions to the development of higher education in China. Yet in the transitional period of higher education development, adult higher education is facing many problems and challenges. For that reasnn and also in view of the historical development, status quo and problems, aduh higher educatioin in China must be guided by the scientific development perspective. The concept for running schools must be changed with accurate positioning and positive innovation so that aduh higher education can make new contributions to the sustainable development of higher education in China.
