摘　　要：莫泊桑小说创作的一个重要题材是惊怵小说,这是对文学传统的一种继承和发展,又是过渡到现当代外国文学的中介,因而不可忽视。他并不写鬼怪,而是描写人物在特定情景下的幻觉。他往往根据自己对现实生活的观察、体验、甚至在神经病发作时有过的幻象化成小说,这是对人的心理的另一种开掘。这类小说显示出莫泊桑的创作具有浪漫主义成分。The thriller is an important genre of Maupassant＇ s creative writing. It is both the inheritance and the development of literary tradition. These thrillers represent the transition from foreign classical literature to modern literature, so they can not be neglected. Instead of describing ghosts or monsters, Maupassant tends to show man＇ s illusions in specific situations. Based on the writer＇ s own observation, experience and mirage resulting from his mental disease, these thrillers are another way of exploring human psychology. Thrillers show the romantic element of Maupassant＇ s creative writing.
