摘 要:语言教学与文化意识息息相关,文化意识的培养是学习语言的重要组成部分。《英语课程标准》把培养学生的文化意识、拓展学生的国际视野、发展他们跨文化交际的意识和能力作为基础教育阶段英语课程的重要任务。从跨文化意识的含义、语言与文化的关系着手,分析教师和学生树立跨文化意识的重要性,并对相关课程设置以及怎样在英语教学中进行跨文化意识培养进行了相关探讨。Language teaching is closely connected with cultural awareness. Fostering cultural awareness is an important part of learning a language. English Curriculum Standards for basic education attach great importance to fostering students' cultural awareness and developing students' field of vision and cross-cultural awareness. Thus it can be seen that fostering cross-cultural awareness of English education majors is an important task. This thesis focuses on how to foster students'cross-cultural awareness through the analysis of the meaning of cultural awareness, the relationship between language and culture, the related courses offered and the importance and strategies of fostering cultural awareness in English teaching.
