摘　　要：语言与文化密不可分,语言教学必然包括文化教学。当今高职高专院校的外语教学重视语言形式而忽视语言在实际场合的运用,使语言学习者没有充分意识到跨文化交际中的文化差异,导致交际障碍、失误等现象屡屡发生。本文主要从对跨文化教育的重要性和必要性的理论分析入手,阐述了当前外语文化教育的现状,探讨了培养学生跨文化意识,提高英语交际能力的措施。Language and culture are closely related. Language teaching includes cuhare teaching,too. However, language learners don＇t completely realize cultural differences in the intercultural communication,which resuhs in the communicationalfailure because the current foreign teaching doesn＇t pay enough attention to intercultural communication education.This paper intends to explain the present situation of current foreign language cultural education and discuss several approaches to improve intercultural communication competence mainly from a theoretical analysis of the importance and the necessity f the intercultural education.The main task of foreign language teaching is to develop students＇intercultural comoetence and to carrv on the effective communication
