摘　　要：通过全面分析国内各高校网络教学平台的应用情况,并结合北京邮电大学网络教育学院采用Sakai开源教学系统作为网络教育教学平台的尝试,提出一种新的应用途径——在开源教学系统的基础上做二次开发,这既能节省软件的开发和维护使用成本,又能比较完全的满足各学校实际的需求。The author made a comprehensive analysis on the LMS implementations in Higher Education in China. With the experience of Sakai deployment as production LMS in School of Network Education, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the author made a recommendation on customization and adoption of open source LMS to cut down costs of software development and maintenance, and satisfy the needs of institutions.
