摘　　要：本文在分析了《水浒传》4个英译全本的基础上，指出：《水浒传》英译活动是语言、文化和语境共同编织的一种关系网络，网络中各种因素互为因果并作用于中西文化交流。意识形态始终决定着译者的翻译策略和方法。Based on the analysis of the translation activities of the four versions of Shuihuzhuan in English,this paper points out that the translation of Shuihuzhuan into English is a grid composed of language,culture and context in which the varied factors interact with each other and affect the Sino-Westem cultural exchanges. The study also concludes that ideology is a dominating factor that determines the translator＇s translation strategies and methods.
