摘　　要：ArcGIS Server是随着ArcGIS9的发布而实施的,支持基于局域网(LAN)和广域网(WAN/Internet)应用环境的完全网络GIS服务。本文从面向服务的角度研究了ArcGIS Server的底层架构和实现机制,通过分析Arc-GIS Server远程调用底层AO以及SOAP应答机制,阐述了ArcGIS Server封装和共享服务的可行性。对于研究面向服务的体系架构及在此架构下构建新型的GIS系统具有非常重要的参考价值。ArcGIS Server is actualized along with ArcGIS 9. 0. It is a full GIS Web service that serving the LAN and WAN/Internet environments. This paper studies thearehitecture and mechanism of ArcGIS Server from the Service-Oriented Architecture. This paper analyses the mechanism that using remote that object running in the GIS server over standard Internet protocols and SOAP request. It describes the feasibility that AreGIS Server creating and pooling service. It is very signifieative to create new GIS based on SOA.
