摘　　要："红色文化"是社会主义先进文化的重要组成部分,弘扬"红色文化",树立社会主义荣辱观,是实现全面建设小康社会奋斗目标的新要求,是构筑社会主义核心价值体系的重要内容,是应对国际形势严峻挑战、提高国家文化软实力的需要。弘扬"红色文化",应加强社会主义和共产主义理想信念教育、爱国主义和集体主义教育及艰苦奋斗精神教育,全面提升全民族的社会主义思想道德素质。＂Red Culture＂is an essential component of advanced socialist culture. Carrying forward ＂Red Culture＂ and fostering the socialist maxims of honor and disgrace constitute the new requirement for a moderately prosperous society in all respects and an important task of building up the system of socialist core values. We need ＂Red culture＂ in dealing with international challenges and enhancing the soft power of our country. In carrying forward ＂Red Culture＂, we should step up education for people to cherish socialist and communist ideals and beliefs, patriotism and collectivism and the spirit of hard struggle so as to enhance the socialist ideological and ethical standards of the whole nation.
