A Bibliometric Analysis of Published Articles and Their Citations in Modern University Education During the Recent Five Years

摘  要:期刊质量是其所刊载论文学术质量的综合体现,期刊的整体质量取决于其载文、著者、引文、被引的各项指标的综合。运用文献计量学的原理和方法,对《现代大学教育》近五年(2004-2008年)载文的载文量、作者、基金资助、引文率、篇均引文量、引文语种、引文类型、引文年代等来源期刊指标以及总被引频次、影响因子、立即指数、被引半衰期、期刊他引率等被引计量指标进行统计分析。其载文量、著者、引文以及被引的各项指标都远远优于国内教育类期刊的平均水平,但与国内外学术水平较高的教育类期刊相比,仍有些差距。因此,《现代大学教育》仍需进一步成长与发展,继续提高其知名度与学术影响力。The overall quality of an academic journal depends on indicators such as the number of articles published,their authorship,citations and cited frequency etc.This study utlizes bibliometric method to analyse published articles and their citations in Modern University Education(MUE)during the recent five years(2004~2008).Indicators chosen fall into two groups,that is,periodical indicators such as authorship,subsidization,the number of articles published and their total/average citations,languages,categories,timeliness of citations etc,and cited indices such as cited frequency,Impact Factor,Immediacy Index,Cited Half-life and Cross-citation Rate,etc.Results indicate that,MUE is way above the average level of domestic education journals with regard to the number of articles published,their authorship,citations,and all those cited indices.On the other hand,MUE remains comparatively inferior to leading education journals both at home and abroad.Therefore,there's still room for MUE to further improve itself for achieving better reputation and greater influence in academic circles.
