摘　　要：《汉书》对少数民族历史与民族关系的记述具有很高的学术价值:一、《汉书》踵续《史记》记载少数民族历史的作法,并加以发扬光大,促进了中国史学重视记述少数民族历史优良传统的形成和发展。书中详细而又系统的少数民族历史和民族关系记载为我们了解相关历史提供了必要的材料。二、《汉书》着力宣传大一统国家的民族统一成就,提倡并表彰维护多民族统一的行为,这对于中国统一多民族国家的发展是有积极作用的。三、在民族史和民族关系记述中,班固注意对相关历史经验教训的总结,使其民族史撰述具有很高的实际指导价值。Writing about the history of minorities and ethnic relationship, HANSHU had much important academic value. First, the detailed and systemstic records on the history of minorities and ethnic relations in the book, which were imitative of SHIJI and carried the historiography of SHIJI forward, not only provided the essential material for us to understand the related history now, but also promoted the formation and the development of the fine tradition that Chinese historians pay high attention to the history of minorities in the past. Second, by propagandizing the achievement of unity of a great many peoples as a unified multi-ethnic country and advocating and recognizing the behaviors to defend the multi-ethnic unity, HANSHU took a positive role on the development of China as a united multi-ethnic country. Third, because Ban Gu paid attention to the summary of historical experience and lessons, there were much high value of actual instruction in the records of the history of minorities and ethnic relations.
