摘 要:本研究以Halliday及Crystal关于重音分布与信息传递的关系理论为基础,运用纵贯研究的方法,通过对14名英语专业学生四年跟踪朗读语音材料的标注和分析,揭示英语专业学生重音分布的发展规律。研究结果表明:重音分布与信息传递的吻合度四年中呈现高原现象,这证实了学习是遵循负增长学习曲线的过程。1)简单句多重音现象四年中显著减少,含副词语的复合句呈不稳定的变化趋势,列举句式重音分布掌握较好。2)含副词语的复合句中,高分组重音分布与信息传递的吻合度四年中呈上升趋势,而低分组则呈下降趋势。3)低分组多重音现象较高分组明显。Based on the theories of accent distribution and information conveyance of Halliday ( 1967 ) and Crystal ( 1975 ), the present study employs a longitudinal approach and the speech data of 14 subjects across four years to provide a dynamic picture of English majors' accent distribution. Results of the present study indicate the following : the coincidence of accent distribution and information conveyance evinces plateau period, proving that learning follows the negatively accelerating learning curve, more specifically: 1 ) There is a decrease in the overuse of feet in simple sentence ; the adverbial sentences see an unsteady period and the students have a good command of the accent distribution in listing; 2) The coincidence of accent distribution sees an increase in adverbials by the high-achievers but a decrease by the low-achievers; 3 ) The low-achievers tend to include more feet than the high-achievers.
