摘　　要：Professor ZHANG Tao, a national-noted TCM physician in Guanganmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, has rich experience in the treatment of orthopedic and traumatic diseases. The author fortunately had a chance to work with Professor ZHANG during his advanced studies in 1999, and used the digital point pressure andProfessor ZHANG Tao, a national-noted TCM physician in Guanganmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, has rich experience in the treatment of orthopedic and traumatic diseases. The author fortunately had a chance to work with Professor ZHANG during his advanced studies in 1999, and used the digital point pressure and massage on meridians in clinic and obtained a very satisfactory result.12 The digital point pressuremassage on meridians is also termed as the ＂finger needle＂ therapy, ＂finger pressure＂ therapy and ＂digital point pressure＂ therapy. Through many years＇ study on the basic theory of ancient classics and the clinical practice, the author has had a further understanding of the digital point pressure and massage on meridians and thought that profound TCM theories are worth carrying on and developing. The following is the comparison of the digital point pressure and massage on meridians with acupuncture.
