摘  要:文章从江门职业技术学院学生公共外语学习的现状出发,结合公共外语教学实际情况,探讨了今后公共外语教学的思路,提出了分级教学的观点,为培养高技术应用型人才,提高大学生外语水平摸索出一条必由之路。With the reform of the principle and target in training talents,the college English teaching is expected to change the idea and advance with the times. Starting from the current situation of non - English majors'learning and the practice of college English teaching, this article probes the idea of college English teaching in the future and proposes the concept of graded teaching in the hope of finding a way to cultivate technology- applied talents and improve students" English competence.
