摘  要:本文从教师元认知的内涵和结构入手,结合教师职业发展的内容和特点以探讨教师元认知与高校外语教师职业发展的理论关联,指出,教师元认知能力的培养是促进教师发展的必由之路,并针对目前我国高校外语教师职业发展的培训现状,探究基于教师元认知的校本途径。This paper establishes the theoretical correlation between teacher metacognition and college foreign language teacher development by analyzing the relationship of teacher metacognition theory with the contents and features of teacher development, and points out that teacher development just depends on how to enhance teacher's metacognitive ability. The paper also explores school-based approaches to boost teacher development after an analysis of the current situations of Chinese college foreign language teacher training.
