摘  要:20世纪上半叶,长江三角洲主要粮食作物水稻、三麦和主要经济作物棉花、油菜的亩均产量均趋于减少。与清代中叶相比,长江三角洲主要农作物的单位面积产量也趋于下降。即使在长江三角洲农业生产力最高的20—30年代,农业生产仍未恢复到19世纪中叶太平天国战前的水平。Agricultural productivity declined in the Yangtze Delta during the first half of the 20th century. Production of rice, barley and wheat, that were the main grain crops in the area, reduced at the same time. And the production of cotton, that was one of the most cash crops in the delta, reduced too. Food or income per unit of land was lower than that during the mid-Qing Dynasty. During the 1920s-30s, the agricultural productivity did not get to the level in the mid-19th century when it reached to the highest level in the regional history.
